is a topic that I have been wanting to say something, but my anger is so intense and I have so much to express that I can not articulate a coherent text. At the moment, it is worth to echo the statement about the AVALL , which speaks for itself:

Valencian society has just suffered a frontal attack on its system of coexistence. It is not just a very serious attack on democratic principles that supposedly inspired our political system, but a situation unprecedented since the restoration of democracy.
As is known, the Archbishop of Valencia has instructed the English section of the Pontifical Institute John Paul II, headquartered in Valencia, sexual education program aimed at schools. This "training guide" titled "Educating for the love, sexuality, trying to convey to children between 5 and 14 years a vision of sexuality according to the doctrine of the Catholic hierarchy. However, this document will not be a statement of intentions but is going to be the material from which teaching is conducted. In other words, the Government will tolerate being taught in classrooms in schools in the Comunitat Valenciana an agenda not only different but opposed to dictation by the Generalitat, the FT (Intervention Programs for Sex Education), developed by health technicians.
Where the FOOT talking about contraception, the brochure speaks of containment, chastity and fertility. Where the FOOT speaks of recognizing sexual diversity and the diversity of family forms, the brochure speaks of function and dysfunction. Where the FOOT talk about sexual responsibility, the brochure speaks of modesty and restraint. Where the FOOT discusses health care and prevention of disease transmission, this pamphlet talks about vices. Where the FOOT speak of critical reflection off the gender inequalities, the pamphlet speaks of birth, erotica and pornography. Where the FOOT speaks of sexuality in the social construction and the need to recognize the equality of men and women, this booklet discusses the sexual differentiation, courtship and celibacy.
We note, therefore, that the turnaround has been dramatic, to the extent that scientific criteria have been replaced by prejudices that these frontal attack. How is it possible that the Government abdicate all their duties and be humiliated in front of a belief system that not only is not shared by all the inhabitants of their area but challenges the international scientific consensus, and even the most basic common sense ? Do have changed the political principles that underpin our existence and we have adopted the theocracy? Are they going to be those principles that govern the health centers or hospitals from now? If this atrocity is allowed to pass unanswered what is the next step? Are we going to deny the roundness of the earth? Are we going to teach creationism in schools? The Constitution can not remain at the doors of private schools or arranged. This would open the door to tomorrow other faiths could impose their curricula. "We will educate the submission of women and the need to cover your body and your face as interpreters say the Quran? Do we teach in schools that blood transfusions are prohibited because they said the Lord?
But it is even worse. This pamphlet, which is already held by the religious schools (private and subsidized) of the diocese of Valencia, it is intended to be applied also in public schools under this argument: "school boards have autonomy to approve those activities or programs school to consider. Schools, if approved by their school board can decide such matters which are voluntary in their freedom. " And where is the freedom of parents who are a minority in a public school to choose to have their children educated according to scientific criteria? Democracy is not so much the imposition of the will of the majority and respect for minorities. And, frankly, we believe that those who view science as a form of knowledge than to prejudice and religious dogma are mostly in the Comunitat Valenciana.
What document WHO (World Health Organization) it is said that masturbation is a "vice"? If "human sexual relationships must be made by spouses welcome life "and be understood" embrace life "as a breed, there will be no human sexual relationships that heterosexual couples are infertile, or elderly, or who are not members of the Catholic Church and live in union? What the child can think of a single parent or homosexual when their teachers tildan his dysfunctional family? How can we allow a celibate association is allowed from a classroom to teach lessons of morality, sexual or otherwise, and prosecute the parents of a child? Self-control and restraint in sexual matters do not seem to have had much success in the Catholic Church, given of the thousands of cases around the world who have made public, and those that never will be announced, where they have been priests and even bishops involved in crimes of pedophilia.
We are facing a grave situation that silence can only be understood as complicity or submission. You can not leave unanswered an attack so deep into our system of coexistence. If good people do not raise our voices against this situation can continue climbing to levels difficult to predict. We do not want to be ashamed of Valencia. Not to be mocked, nor can we resign ourselves to a international ridicule of this caliber. For all these reasons, AVALL (Associació Valenciana d'ATEUS i Lliurepensadors) will examine the legal measures which aim to stop this latest regional rave-Catholicism. We believe there is evidence of a crime against public health over the issue of condoms. We believe that evidence of crime in the humiliation of homosexuals. We believe that evidence of crime in the subordination of general interest to a particular religion.
The submission may be a basis for that belief system that has renounced the right, but certainly can not be a virtue for a critical, self-conscious and aspire to live in the XXI century.
